RANGER Prague Shooting Range: Packages, Prices & Booking Guide
Tour Overview
RANGER Prague is the most reviewed and highest-rated shooting range in Prague, holding a perfect 5.0 rating across more than 4,364 Viator reviews and 5,200+ TripAdvisor reviews. If you’re looking for a shooting range in Prague, this is the operator most visitors choose — and the one that consistently earns repeat visits.
The range is located in the heart of Vinohrady (Praha 2), one of Prague’s most central neighbourhoods. Unlike most Prague shooting tours that require hotel pickup and a 30–45 minute drive, RANGER’s indoor facility is a 5-minute walk from I.P. Pavlova metro station — making it one of the most accessible shooting experiences in the city.
Five packages let you scale the experience from a quick 25-shot taster with 3 guns to a comprehensive 10-gun session covering everything from pistols and assault rifles to shotguns and sniper rifles. This is a popular choice for Prague stag do activities, couples looking for something unusual among things to do in Prague, and anyone who wants to try real firearms in a safe, professional environment.

What to Expect
Arrival & Registration
Arrive at the Lublaňská 1729/23 address 10 minutes before your time slot. Ring the bell marked “RANGER PRAGUE” on the left side of the door — don’t ring the hotel bell. After ID registration (passport or EU national ID required), you’ll be offered complimentary snacks and beverages while the instructor prepares your session.
Safety Briefing
Before entering the range, your instructor delivers a thorough safety briefing in English covering proper grip, stance, trigger control, and range etiquette. Ear protection and safety glasses are provided. RANGER Prague’s instructors are consistently praised in reviews for making beginners feel comfortable and confident from the first shot.
The Shooting Session (60–90 minutes)
You’ll work through your package weapon by weapon. The instructor stays by your side, explaining each firearm’s history and characteristics before helping you load, aim, and fire. Targets are set at adjustable distances — closer for beginners, further back as your confidence builds. Between weapons, you can take photos and videos of each other. The instructor will take group photos with the unloaded firearms if you ask.
After Shooting
You receive your paper targets as a souvenir — a popular keepsake from the experience. Head back upstairs for more refreshments or explore the Vinohrady neighbourhood, which is packed with restaurants and bars. The entire experience from arrival to departure takes approximately 2 hours.
Location & Transport
RANGER Prague’s central location is one of its biggest advantages. You don’t need to arrange transfers or wait for a pickup — just walk to the range, shoot, and walk out into the city. This makes it easy to fit into any Prague itinerary, whether before a dinner reservation or as part of a bigger day of sightseeing. View on Google Maps →
Practical Information
Visitor Tips
- Wear a high-collared top or button-up shirt — hot brass casings eject from semi-automatic weapons and can land on exposed skin. Avoid low-cut tops and open-toed shoes.
- The Ranger package at 2,875 CZK (€115) is the bestseller for good reason — it covers the five most popular weapon types and offers the best variety-to-price ratio. Most first-timers find it the sweet spot.
- Arrive 10 minutes early. Registration takes a few minutes and you don’t want to cut into your shooting time. Ring the “RANGER PRAGUE” bell on the left door — not the hotel bell.
- You can add extra weapons beyond your package once you’re at the range. If you book Rookie but want to try the Dragunov, ask the instructor — they’ll quote a per-weapon top-up price.
- For stag parties: RANGER Prague handles large groups regularly. Groups of 10+ get a discount, and 15+ groups get even better rates. This is one of the most popular Prague stag do activities.
- The Vinohrady neighbourhood around the range is excellent for post-shooting food and drinks. Dozens of restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk.
- You can take photos and videos during the session. The instructor will pose you with unloaded weapons for group shots if you ask.
- Don’t forget your ID — passport or EU national ID card. Without it, you will not be allowed to shoot. No exceptions.
What Visitors Say
RANGER Prague holds a 5.0 out of 5 rating on Viator (4,364+ reviews), a 5.0 on TripAdvisor (5,217+ reviews), and a 5-star rating on Trustpilot (244+ reviews). It is consistently the highest-rated shooting experience in Prague.
The most consistent praise is for the professionalism and friendliness of instructors, the quality and variety of weapons, and the safe but relaxed atmosphere. The main feedback from shorter packages is that they can feel brief — upgrading from Rookie to Ranger adds significant variety and shooting time for just €30 more.
