Private Riga Shooting Range Experience: Packages, Prices & Booking Guide
Tour Overview
This private shooting experience stands apart from every other Riga range package in one key way: it combines a live shooting session with a visit to an abandoned Soviet-era bunker. No other Viator shooting experience in Riga includes this Cold War history element. You travel by air-conditioned private van, visit the bunker site with your guide, then proceed to the shooting range — where you fire up to 6 real firearms with a professional instructor.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included in both packages, as are complimentary photos and videos of your shooting session — another rarity in the Riga market where most operators leave photography to you. The guide accompanies you throughout the entire experience, providing context on both the historical site and the firearms.
Two packages are available: the 4-weapon “Exotic” selection at €169 per group and the 6-weapon “Rambo” selection at €199 per group. Both prices are per group (not per person), making this the most cost-effective all-inclusive shooting experience in Riga for pairs and small groups.
Packages & Pricing
Both packages are priced per group, not per person. Hotel pickup, the Soviet bunker visit, a private guide, bottled water, and complimentary photos and videos are included in both.

Firearms by Package
| Firearm | Type | Shots | Exotic (€169) | Rambo (€199) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AK-47 | Semi-Auto Rifle (7.62mm) | 5 | ✓ | ✓ |
| Glock 17 | Semi-Auto Pistol (9mm) | 10 | ✓ | ✓ |
| Winchester | Pump-Action Shotgun (12 Gauge) | 5 | ✓ | ✓ |
| SPAS-15 | Combat Shotgun (12 Gauge) | 3 | ✓ | ✓ |
| Revolver | Revolver | 5 | — | ✓ |
| SigSauer | Semi-Auto Pistol (9mm) | 7 | — | ✓ |
The SPAS-15 is a highlight of both packages — a semi-auto/pump-action switchable combat shotgun rarely found in tourist shooting experiences. The Revolver and SigSauer added in the Rambo pack provide two additional handgun archetypes: the mechanical elegance of a revolver versus the precision of a Swiss-made service pistol.
What to Expect
Hotel Pickup
Your guide and driver collect you from your Riga hotel in an air-conditioned private van. Drop-off after the experience is at any location in Riga you specify. The driver and guide accompany you throughout the entire experience.
The Soviet Bunker
En route to or from the shooting range, your guide takes you to an abandoned Soviet-era military bunker. Latvia was occupied by the Soviet Union until 1991, and Cold War military infrastructure remains scattered across the countryside outside Riga. Your guide provides historical context — the role of these facilities, the Soviet military presence in Latvia, and what life was like for soldiers stationed there. This element of the experience is genuinely unique in the Riga shooting market.
The Shooting Session (~40 minutes)
At the range, professional shooting instructors take over. A full safety briefing in English is followed by your session through the selected firearms. Your guide and/or instructors document the session with photos and video — you receive these complimentary, not as a paid extra. The session is private: only your group participates.
After your session you’re driven back to your hotel or any central Riga location you specify. Water is provided throughout the experience.
Location & Transport
Unlike the Šautuve range packages where you make your own way to Meža iela 1A, this experience handles all transport. The van collects you from your hotel, takes you to the bunker, continues to the shooting range, and returns you to any Riga address you specify.
Practical Information
Visitor Tips
- At €169–€199 per group with hotel pickup included, this is the best-value all-inclusive option in Riga for 2 people. The per-person cost of the Exotic package for a couple works out to roughly €85 — comparable to other range sessions but with hotel pickup, a private guide, a bunker visit, and free photos and videos on top.
- The Soviet bunker visit is the experience’s defining feature and the reason to choose this over a standard range package. Latvia’s Soviet occupation left a significant physical legacy — bunkers, military installations, and Cold War infrastructure. The guide’s historical context on-site makes this a genuine dual experience: history and adrenaline.
- Free photos and videos of your shooting session are included — a genuine differentiator. At every other Riga indoor range, photography is informal and self-managed. Having a guide document your session means better photos and allows you to focus entirely on the shooting.
- The SPAS-15 is in both packages and is worth highlighting to your group before you book — it’s a military combat shotgun with a distinctive dual-action mechanism not found at most tourist shooting ranges.
- The Rambo upgrade from €169 to €199 adds a revolver and SigSauer for an extra €30 per group — that’s a marginal cost for 2 additional weapon types and 12 additional shots. For most groups, the Rambo selection is the better value unless budget is tight.
- Confirmation is instant at time of booking — unlike some Riga packages that confirm within 48 hours. This makes last-minute bookings viable.
What Visitors Say
This experience currently holds a 5.0 out of 5 rating from 1 early Viator review. As a newer and more distinctive offering in the Riga market, it is building its review base — but the combination of hotel pickup, Soviet bunker history, free photography, and group pricing is a proposition not available elsewhere in Riga.
